In a tightening labor market, finding the right person can be a daunting task.  Generating a pool of qualified applicants is essential to finding the best fit.  There is a possibility we can expand the pool by casting a wider net including segments of the population with distinct underemployment.  Using a series of exercises and questions designed to evaluate recruitment and selection practices, you will be challenged to consier how you may be unintentionally limiting the applicant pool, and potentially creating adverse impact.  Particular area to be explored include consideration of ex-offenders, person with disabilities, educational attainment, and those seeking flexible schedules such as parents and retirees.
