    Presenter: Jodie Meyer, Department of Labor

    Jodie Meyer will be with us to discuss employment trends in Nebraska. She will walk us through the workforce trends from the Nebraska Department of Labor and also, provide information on how to find this data on the Nebraska Labor Market Website. This will include employment projections, unemployment rates and more.

    Jodie Meyer is a Research Analyst at the Nebraska Department of Labor in the Office of Labor Market Information where she has worked for the last 12 years. Her primary job responsibilities include producing industry and occupational employment projections, developing career planning resources utilizing Labor Market Information data, giving presentations, and responding to data requests. She is a graduate of Wayne State College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master of Science in Education degree specializing in Social Science Education. While in graduate school, she worked for the college as a graduate/research assistant where she assisted in teaching classes and working on a variety of research projects.
