    Employment Law 101 - This program will provide an overview of personal liability for employment law violations; employment practices/liability insurance; job descriptions essential functions and employment interview questions. Participants will leave with a better understanding of these issues and be able to ask specific questions.

    Avoiding Nightmare: New Employee Experiences Through Intentional Onboarding Dr. Hanson will present ideas for crafting an engaging, tiered onboarding program.  Participants will be able to explain the difference between orientation and onboarding; identify key elements of an onboarding program; brainstorm key stakeholders for a successful onboarding program; and develop a timeline for development and pilot of an onboarding program.
